Sergovic Carmean McCartney & Owens, P.A. is a Georgetown-based law firm serving clients throughout Sussex County and beyond.
As the firm continued to evolve and grow, its website no longer reflected the professionalism, credibility, and accessibility expected by today's users.
Vivid Creative Studio was selected to design and develop a completely new website that modernized the firm's digital presence while providing a better experience for both existing and prospective clients.
Objective
The firm's previous website had remained largely unchanged for years and was in need of a complete refresh. Beyond creating a more modern design, accessibility was a key consideration throughout the project. The new website needed to accommodate users with varying accessibility needs while maintaining a professional and trustworthy appearance. The firm had also recently updated its name and exterior signage, creating a need for new photography that accurately represented the organization and its current brand identity.
Process
Our process began with an in-depth discovery meeting to understand the firm's goals, priorities, and technical requirements.
From there, we developed a modern website focused on clarity, usability, and accessibility. To help ensure a more inclusive experience, we implemented the UserWay accessibility widget, allowing visitors to adjust settings such as contrast, text size, and other viewing preferences.
In addition to the website itself, our team conducted an on-location photography session to capture updated attorney headshots, office imagery, and photographs of the firm's new signage. By combining custom photography with thoughtful website design and development, we created a cohesive digital presence that accurately reflects the firm's professionalism and commitment to serving its clients.
