12 Best Plugins for Figma

These are some of our favorite Figma plugins. Here at Vivid, we use Figma for the majority of our static design projects and for the UX/UI layout of our web design projects. These plugins are helpful for designers of all skill levels to know about. Give them a try and see what you can create!

Image Tracer

Using this plugin, you can easily turn images into vector files directly in figma. This allows you to resize it into any size without losing quality. Its basically just like the image tracing option in Illustrator, but better.

Batch Styler

This plugin allows you to change multiple colors and fonts at the same time. This makes it a lot easier to restyle an entire design all at once, and will save you a lot of time.

Noise is a plugin that simply allows you to add noise to your designs. You can adjust the contrast, density, and scale of the noise, making it very customizable and easy to use for any project.

This is pretty much just a large library of icons for you to use. All of the icons are svg files, so you can edit them, resize and recolor them to match up with any of your designs.

Figma to HTML

This plugin allows you to turn your website mockups into actual responsive websites. This, of course, will save you a lot of time when it’s time to turn your mockups into an actual website.

Use this plugin to remove the background of any image with a single click.

This plugin allows you to bend text upward or downward at any angle, or even into a circle. You can even edit the text still after the arc effect is applied to it.

Dark Mode Magic

This plugin is used to convert a light themed mockup into dark mode with a single click. It won’t optimize all the other colors of your design, but it will still save you a lot of time and at least give you an idea of what your designs will look like in dark mode.

Choose from hundreds of different premade gradients to apply to your design. This plugin is perfect for designers whose strong suit is not creating their own gradients, but who still want to implement gradients in their designs.

Use this plugin to insert stock images from a large library into your designs. The unsplash license allows images to be used for free for commercial or personal use.

Mapsicle allows you to add customized maps into your designs. You just search for a place, select an interactive map and then you can zoom in/out as much as you want and customize other elements such as the colors and style of the map.

This plugin allows you to skew whatever you need, from simple shapes to entire mockups. Control the angle and the orientation to skew your design in whatever fashion you desire.
