At Vivid, we love seeing our work make an impact right here in the local community that we call home. So when Susan Stewart was recently elected as the next Mayor of Rehoboth Beach, it was a particularly exciting moment for us.
A couple of years ago, we had the opportunity to help Susan Stewart build her campaign brand as she ran for Rehoboth Beach Commissioner. From the visual identity to the campaign materials, we helped create a cohesive brand that represented Susan and her vision for the community. She won that election, becoming a Rehoboth Beach Commissioner.
And then earlier this year, when Susan decided to run for Mayor, she came back to Vivid.
Building a Campaign Brand From the Ground Up
For the mayoral campaign, our team handled the branding, graphic design, and website for Susan’s campaign.
That included developing a recognizable visual identity and carrying it consistently across the campaign’s many touchpoints — from mailers and postcards to yard signs, business cards, and digital materials.
We also designed and developed Susan’s campaign website, creating a central place for voters to learn more about her, her experience, and her vision for Rehoboth Beach.
For us, the goal was simple: create a campaign brand that felt professional, approachable, memorable, and authentic to Susan.
From Commissioner to Mayor
There’s something especially rewarding about working with a client more than once and getting to see where that relationship leads.
We first worked with Susan during her campaign for Commissioner. A couple of years later, we were back at the table helping bring her mayoral campaign to life.
Seeing a brand we helped build on campaign signs throughout the city, in mailboxes across the community, and on the screens of local voters was incredibly rewarding. Even better, we got to watch that campaign come full circle on election night.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in Susan’s journey from Commissioner to Mayor and grateful that she trusted Vivid Creative Studio to help tell her story along the way.
