We Partnered With Klarna and Apple Pay to Create an International, Multi-Platform Campaign

Hundreds of assets. Dozens of formats. Zero room for error.

At Vivid, we love projects that push us creatively, challenge us strategically, and allow us to collaborate on a large scale. In 2025, we had the opportunity to do exactly that by helping create a massive international campaign announcing the new partnership between Klarna and Apple Pay.

For this campaign, our team designed hundreds of graphics and video assets that were used across Meta, Snapchat, YouTube, TikTok, digital signage, and billboards. Every platform required its own approach, with completely different sizing, safe zones, formatting requirements, and best practices.

Designing for multiple platforms is never as simple as resizing one graphic. A design that works perfectly for YouTube may not work at all for TikTok. Snapchat has different safe spaces than Instagram. Billboards and digital signage require a totally different approach than mobile-first social content.

Because of that, every single asset had to be intentionally designed for the specific platform where it would appear. That meant carefully planning layouts, text placement, animation, pacing, and visual hierarchy so each piece looked polished and performed well in its intended environment.

This project was also international in scope.

We created content for audiences in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. We also adapted creative into French for French Canadian markets and a few variations in Spanish for audiences in the United States. That added another layer of complexity, because translation is never just about swapping words.

Different languages take up different amounts of space, messaging has to feel natural in each region, and every version still has to fit within platform-safe areas and brand guidelines.

The whole campaign centered around one simple idea: some combinations just work perfectly together.

The combinations that they chose to use for this campaign were sweet and salty, selfcare on sundays, suits and sneakers, and denim on denim. Those classic pairings became the inspiration behind a huge collection of graphics and videos designed to show that Klarna and Apple Pay are another duo that just makes sense.

Beyond the creative work itself, this project involved months of communication, planning, revisions, legal approvals, and logistics. We had Zoom meetings with teams in Sweden and San Francisco, coordinated across time zones, and worked through countless rounds of edits to make sure every piece was aligned and ready to launch.

Projects like this are a reminder that great creative work is about much more than making something look good.

It is about problem-solving, collaboration, flexibility, and attention to detail at every stage of the process.

We are incredibly proud to have played a role in bringing this campaign to life and excited that we can finally talk about it now that it has officially launched.

Even more exciting, we are already working with Klarna and Apple Pay again on another project. We cannot share exactly what it is just yet, but we are looking forward to showing more when the time comes!
